Dan brings a wealth of experience in corporate strategy, investor relations, government relations, policy, and media, as well as deep knowledge of downstream energy demand. He began his career in finance with Janus Capital, Black Creek and Starwood Capital, then he transitioned into the energy industry, serving in senior downstream positions. At Chesapeake Energy, he worked on legislation and policy; LNG and developing the market for broader natural gas utilization in transportation and power generation. A frequent industry advocate, he has presented to the Western Energy Alliance; numerous petroleum marketing associations; the National Association of Convenience Stores; ANGA; and at the C-Store News Alternative Fuels Summit. Dan received his B.A. in Economics from Metropolitan State University of Denver; a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado; and has completed the NACS Executive Leadership program at Cornell University.
